DELIVERY AND RETURNS

DELIVERY SERVICES

All jewellery is sent Free of Charge, either by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by Recorded Delivery, and we will endeavour to despatch it within one working day of payment being received by us, and satisfactorily processed by your bank or credit card provider. 

If you wish to use our Courier Delivery Service, for same day deliveries, this may be arranged by calling us on 08456 808 925 (local call rate).  It will cost you approximately £20 to £30 and, we regret, it is only available for destinations in London and parts of Surrey.  Courier charges will be confirmed with you by email before any arrangements to deliver are made and will be charged to your card on confirmation.

Whilst we will always do our very best to despatch goods to you as soon as possible after satisfactory payment is received, we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.   

Title of the goods passes to you when they are paid for and despatched, and it is your responsibility to make sure that we have full and accurate delivery instructions, and that there is someone to receive and sign for the goods when they are delivered.  On despatch, we will send you an email with the tracking number so that you can track the progress of your purchase.

Royal Mail Special or Recorded Delivery are both secure and reliable, and provide adequate insurance for goods in transit, as does our Courier Service, but we cannot be held responsible for loss or misdelivery if instructions are inaccurate or incomplete.  If we do have to redeliver your purchase, you will incur additional charges.

RETURNS

If, on receipt of your purchase, you are not entirely happy with it, you may return it to us within 14 days and receive a full refund or replacement, provided that:

·    You notify us by email at customercare@zigzagjewels.com, or in writing at 58 High Street, Epsom, Surrey KT19 8AJ, within 7 working days of delivery of your purchase. We will issue you with a Returns Authorisation Number which MUST be used when returning the goods, and confirm by email the agreed action to be taken, whether exchange, refund or credit.

·   We receive the returned goods at our Epsom offices no later than 14 days after delivery of the items to you.

·   The jewellery is returned in perfect condition, unworn, in its original packaging and with the security tag attached intact.  If the security tag has been removed or tampered with, we cannot accept return of the goods.

For hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange or refund earrings, unless they are defective or faulty.

Special orders, items made to order or items gold plated to order cannot be exchanged or returned.

Sale items may only be exchanged during the sale period, and with proof of purchase.

Should you wish to return your purchase, or cancel your contract with us, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.  No compensation will be paid for any disappointment or other reason.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

You will be responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the goods arrive, as described above, at our offices in Epsom (see address above) within the specified timescale.  We cannot be responsible for returns which we do not receive, and we recommend the use of a means of delivery which enables you to monitor its progress, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.

If you deliver the returned goods by hand to our Epsom offices, it is your responsibility to ensure that you receive an official receipt.  Internet returns cannot be processed by shop staff, they will be unable to issue refunds or to exchange unwanted internet purchases.  Your returned internet purchases will be processed in the same way and timescale as if they had been sent by mail.

Unwanted internet purchases cannot be returned to any of our other shops, either by mail or by hand.

Refunds will be made to the same card used for purchasing the goods, and credited to your account within 30 days of the date of return.  If returned goods are purchased with a Gift Voucher, a new Gift Voucher will be issued.  Gift Vouchers themselves will not be refunded.
